A most simple and helpful habit/exercise is: asking each other daily these two questions and listen, listen, listen: what was encouraging for you?… And over what did you frustrate yourself? and then ask together, what does God say to us in the Bible about this? The dinner table – without phones or tv – is a great place to do this.
